FLORIDA HAS TOO MANY DRIVERS WITHOUT INSURANCE

FLORIDA HAS TOO MANY DRIVERS WITHOUT INSURANCE
Many would agree that the last thing anyone wants is to be injured; and so the second to last thing anyone wants is for the person whom caused the injury to not have insurance.
Unfortunately, a recent report shows that even though the percentage of drivers without insurance is shrinking, there are still a lot of people out there whom have not purchased the bodily injury insurance for their cars. Florida just so happens to the state with the second rate of uninsured drivers.
Be mindful of what insurance you are buying the next time you renew your car insurance policy, especially since the phrase “full coverage” does not usually mean what you believe it does. That happens because Florida only requires PIP (Personal Injury Protection) and PD (Property Damage) coverage, and it does not currently require insurance coverage for causing someone else injury to the other person’s body.
It is suggested that one purchase “Uninsured Motorists” coverage to avoid being injured by an uninsured driver and not being able to be made whole for the injuries suffered. Feel free to contact an attorney with experience in these matters for more details.
